Additional QUALIFICATION: Sharing Worldviews
The participatin unviersities and colleges for teacher education offer an additional qualification of Learning in Encounter. This qualification can be absolved by students, trainee teachers and teachers of the subjects of denominational religious education and ethics education. The goal of the additional qualification is that teachers are able to act within the context of plurality in a professional manner and to use different worldviews as a meaningful ressource for learning processes. The additional qualification is based on the 4 phase model and contains the theory and practice of Learning in Encounter, as well as the possibility to try the model in practice by preparing and implementing a study day with international participants.
The additional qualification can be absolved in 2 to 6 semesters. It contains three modules and at the end an internationally mixed group of students works on a project of Learning in Encounter. The additional qualification contains 15 ECTS and is internationally approved by the project partners.
