Two international Study Days on the topic "Show me your 'Holy Places' " were held successfully on Tue 28 May 2024: the first between the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and the Eskişehir Osmangazi University (Turkey), and the second between the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and the Kirchliche Pädagogische Hochschule Wien/Krems (Austria).
A total of 40 students of different worldviews participated in these two study days: 27 Eastern Orthodox students under the guidance of Ass. Prof. Dr. Charidimos Koutris (AUTH, Greece), 7 Islamic students under Res. Fellow Dr. Kübra Yıldız (Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Turkey) and 6 Islamic students under Prof. Dr. Fatima Cavis (KPH Krems). Colleagues and students from other worldviews were also invited (Catholic & Protestant Christians, Jews, philosophy & ethics, atheists and others), but they were unable to attend unfortunately.
The feedback received from students on these study days was very positive and encouraging with the majority of them highlighting the usefulness of such encounters, because they provide an opportunity to learn about different worldviews and notice the similarities between them, despite their external differences.
